Anybody out there???

This is probably a big waste of time. I'm sure all of our great friends and family that used to come and check on us have long since given up. Can't blame you since it has been well over a year since our last post. But, with baby number 3 just 5 weeks away, I thought I would give this one more shot. "He" deserves to at least have his moment online like his older brothers did.
So a lot has happened in a year, aside from being pregnant again!! We have bought some land in north Raleigh and are in the early stages of designing a house that will hopefully be complete by this time next year.  So long NY. This should come as a surprise to no-one since we have been talking about this day for well over a decade. Yet it actually was a surprise those closest to us. Funny how no one pays attention!
We are very excited about this move but are quite nervous about building a house from afar. It is not like we can run to Raleigh at the drop of a hat. As if we did not have enough going on at the moment! Should be quite interesting. Regardless of the additional chaos about to ensue, enjoy how the boys (and their mom) have grown. Pics are in no particular order.......

Richmond Visit

We took the boys to visit family in Richmond last weekend. It was Jackson's first flight and first time meeting his great parents (GG's parent's), Nanny & Papa. It was a great weekend and the boys behaved very well on both flights, except for the small delay on the return that caused us to sit on the runway for a bit, and therefore having to stall food/bottles etc! The culprit, more snow in NY - surprise!
It was so nice to spend time with everyone, including GG, Russell & Michael. Nanny was in great spirits and we send our well wishes that she is feeling good and enjoying her seemingly endless slew of visitors. Papa was a great help with the boys and willingly gave Jackson several bottles.Everyone bonded nicely! Michael is always a huge help with Shane. If only we had an 8 year old neighbor to keep him as preoccupied as Michael can. We were also able to enjoy a basketball game of Michael's and included a short video below for his Dad in Grenada to see.

And a special shout-out to our biggest die-hard blog fan, T. You made the site buddy!!!

Gearing up for spring....

Will the snow ever end??? Not soon enough it seems but while passing the time, Jackson has been doing some new fun things. He likes to read the kindle with dad, has really taken a liking to his new shoes, enjoys an occasional stroll indoors in the radio flyer wagon and outdoors in the sled with big bro Shane. And Shane, who has never been a fan of the snow has gotten quite used to spending hours outside watching Mom shovel. He finds this to be quite amusing and serves as a great time-waster after school when we need it most. As a follow-up to our last post, we are not moving!!! Great news for us!!
