October already? Well summer didn't turn out too badly after all. A few weekend getaways to the Hamptons and Long Beach, LI made it bearable. And we spent the last bit of summer at our condos in NC with family and really lucked out when Ike decided to change directions. Sorry Texas! Despite the chaos of 7 kids age 5 and under (8th is on the way thanks to my fertile sister) and 9 adults, we really had a blast. It seems Fall is on the verge of breaking through so we can finally get out for some long stoller rides. Heat and Shane do not mix well - we have a sweater on our hands!!
