We are officially on vacation. Jason has another 2 months before his new job starts so we headed south and are currently at our beach house in NC. Granted it is not beach weather but better than being in NYC for the cold winter days! Lots of sun, the ocean is beautiful and sunsets are amazing this time of year. Shane has his first look at the ocean the day we arrived. It was a bit windy but we think he'll be a beach lover too. He better....who else will fish with Dad??? Unfortunately, the three of us are sick. Shane came down with his first cold so we are not getting much sleep, but what's new? We had hoped to start sleep training him while we are here, meaning let him "cry it out" but we'll have to wait until he's feeling better. We made an initial stop in Richmond to visit GG and Grandpa Russell (so that Jason and I could get some rest) and we also left Shane for a few nights while we went to the famous Homestead in Virginia. It was beautiful-highly recommended!! We will be more diligent about keeping the website updated while we are on vacation so be sure to visit. Enjoy the pics.
