Look who's all grown up? Shane has been going to school now for about 1 month. It is an early intervention program right around the corner from our house which could not be more convenient, so he gets some of his therapies while at school instead of everyone coming to the house. Although we still have some house visitors (currently vision and we might be getting add'l speech soon) and I also take him to a facility for PT since they have all the fancy equipment we don't have at home. Granted this picture is obviously not Scarsdale but a visit to our cousin (2nd cousin maybe) Elle in the city. Just had to show off his cute school backpack c/o Katherine and Josh.
FYI-Tara and Mike are doing great and what a well-behaved baby!!! Didn't make a peep while we were there.
Shane seems to be adjusting nicely to his new routine and has 9 other kids in the class whom he can learn a lot from. The teachers and therapists keep a journal that they send home every day to keep us updated on what new things Shane is doing at school and what they are working on with him. It has also been a nice 2 1/2 hour break for me. Oh the things you can accomplish when that is all the time you have!!!
