Far from using utensils, I have quite enjoyed feeding myself these days. At least things can be done at my pace - fast and faster!! Maybe I will soon learn that no one is coming to steal my food.

Beach Week 2010.

Our 2 week beach trip this year was spent with the McMahon family for one week, although we did make our usual pit-stop in Richmond going and coming and were able to spend just a couple of days at the beach with the Glover's. Now that Shane is a bit more mobile he was slightly interested in the ocean if we took him right up to the waves, but for the most part just preferred eating sand. The weather cooperated wonderfully and although hot, it maybe rained just once. All the cousins are still young enough that vacation is more chaos than vacation, but they seem to have the time of their lives. Hopefully one day the adults will get to relax and feel normal again!
