Everyone warned us how quickly time would fly when you have kids and they were not kidding. We can't believe that we just had Shane's first birthday celebration. He was a bit confused by the candle and was not interested in giving the cupcake a taste, but Mom & Dad had fun playing their role. Sorry all of that only made it to video but Shane did have a little carrot cake celebration with his best buddy Nolan who is only 5 days younger. We look back at pictures of his first year and never remember him being so small. 11 pounds sounds like a feather now!
